Biography: Is now retired after working as a trainer at Darlington before joining Magnet as a fitter-joiner and then a caretaker at Hummersknott Comprehensive School.

Harker, Chris Chris was my grandad and the best at that. He taught me everything I know. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be who I was today, but sadly my grandad passed away on September 5th 2014


Harker, Chris Its with sad regret that today Sept 17th 2014 it was announced via Bury FC that Chris sadly passed away. I remember him as a truly fearless goalkeeper one of the best that Bury ever had, he was also a true gent in every sense of the word, never failing to stop and sign autographs for all of us who were waiting at the players entrance!! Gone but never forgotten Chris. from all at BURY FC.
