Biography: After a career as an uncompromising defender, Hart moved into management and had already gained experience with Chesterfield, Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Rushden before arriving at Fratton Park in March 2007. He was director of youth operations but took over as caretaker manager after Tony Adams' departure in February 2009. He was given a two year deal in the September but after a shocking run, he was sacked in November 2009. Less than two months later he was back in business as manager of QPR, albeit only for a matter of weeks. His next challenge was to help Crystal Palace avoid relegation after their boss, Neil Warnock, had ironically taken over the post vacated by Hart at QPR. Having achieved this feat with a draw on the last day of the season, he left the club.
