Biography: In 1961, the Maestro became Britain's first ever 100 pound a week footballer, when the 20 pounds per week maximum wage was abolished. Spent 15 years in South Africa and lived in Edinburgh where he ran a dry cleaning business until his death in October 2005, following a car crash. (Played in Fulham's record 10-1 win over Ipswich in 1963)
