Hegan, Danny Was a regular at Butlin’s as a kid, and many times at Clacton being coached by Danny, who was a big ‘tic fan. Always remember his aggressive Scottish accent shouting “Move!” when he was playing snooker in the halls. But a great coach who gave me lots of development twice a day during my hols. And got to meet Peter Osgood, Ray Kennedy and Martin Peters, to name a few. Legend!

Hegan, Danny Knew Danny during his time in Clacton as football coach. He was a great chap and loved by many a small lad as a football hero to them. He liked a drink and spent many a happy hour in the bars surrounded by friends....good memories. Danny died in 2015

Hegan, Danny As a small lad in the 80s I spent a week at Butlins in Minehead and Danny coached the football, which took place every day. Whilst I'm sure it wasn't a highlight of his career it was a highlight of my childhood and that's mainly due to him - cheers Danny, you were a great coach.
