Hill, Gordon I went to the same school as Gordon Hill, in Sunbury-on-Thames. We had a footie friendly one day, on one of the school pitches. I was captain of a team I named 'The North Albanian Chieftains' We needed an extra player, to even out the numbers, and Gordon Hill was suggested. Although, a year or two younger than me, I put him in the team. He was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. This would have been around 1966 or 1967. He went on the play for Staines Town, Millwall and Manchester United and England. Fond memories.

Hill, Gordon Gordon used to join us in the recreation ground at Sunbury along with his brother Sid. Although Gordon was abot 6 to 7 years younger than us we used to let him play with us as he was so good. We sometimes used to call him "Goalhanger Hill" as he used to like to stay near the opposing goalkeeper when the play was up the other end and take advantage of a long ball to him. No referees (or goalposts in those days :) Gordon and Sid were nice guys.... all so long ago. It was great pleasure to see him acheive his success.

Hill, Gordon Hills volley against Gillingham,he chipped it over two players, ran between them and smacked it as it came down,is the best goal I ever saw by a Millwall player.

Hill, Gordon I used to be at school with Gordon. Kenyngton Manor Secondary School in Sunbury. I was best friends with his sister-in-Law Susan and knew his brother Sid (Cyril) very well too. We got on well and had a bit of a flirtation for a short while. Fond memories of a nice kid and great football player.
