Born: 1961

Birthplace: Morpeth, Northumberland

Position: Central defender

Biography: Made two appearances on loan from Sunderland in the 1980's but blossomed as a hard-working and reliable defender later in his career with Derby and Wolves. Worked for Wolves in their Centre of Excellence. He then moved to the States to coach youngsters in New Jersey where he died after a long battle against motor neurone disease in November 2002 aged only 41.

Hindmarsh, Rob I would very much like to make contact with Rob's family as I was pretty close to him. I was born in 1966 & lived next door to him, his mum Jean, his sister (also Jean) & his dad Clive. His parents used to babysit for me when my mam went to work. Me & my mam lived with my Granddad, Jimmy Cook next door. I have many many, memories, some personal with Rob & his family. It would be really lovely to meet any living members of his family, even those whom I have never met. I hope something positive can come from this. My email address is.....
