Hird, Keith Keith Hird was my eldest brother by 17 yrs. He signed for Sunderland as goalkeeper in the year I was born, 1957. He only played one senior match v. Liverpool at Roker Park (not away as stated in Wiki) April 29,1961. Transfered to Darlington circa1964 where injury all but ended his career. He died under tragic circumstances in 1967. BOB HIRD
