Biography: Lives outside Burnley and has ran a soccer schools for over a decade, now works as a special needs teacher, has also worked in a timber merchants and coached at Blackburn's Centre of Excellence, is also a decent artist.

Hird, Kevin My Grandmother lived on Reginald Street nr. Alkincoats Park (Colne). I can remember her talking bout Kevin. As a teenager he was mad about football and used to play in the house! Not many players have played for both Blackburn and Burnley.

Hird, Kevin Worked with Kev for many years in a school for special needs, a great guy ! pleased to call him a friend! When we first met we realised that I had witnessed his first game at Leeds when he gave away the ball and Norwich scored. I called it his Messy moment not a Lionel Messi moment
