Hudson, George I met my all time Sky Blue hero, George
Hudson at an M62 service station in 1999. He agreed with me that his goal against Southampton in 1965 was the best he'd ever scored (& that I have ever seen). Much to my delight he proceeded to demonstrate the goal in the restaurant area! I doubt if our few fellows diners appreciated what a footballing genius they had just witnessed - but I certainly did. The Sky Blues have never seen the likes of 'The Hud' since then, though many have come close. The chants of HUD-SON HUD-SON will live long in the memory.
