Birthplace: Llanelli, Wales

Position: Left-back

Biography: Welsh international full back who had celebrated his 30th birthday when he arrived from Luton Town for £12,000 after World War Two. He had never settled at Kenilworth Road but quickly found his feet in London. A good tackler and distributor of the ball, he gave four years excellent service to the club. Became landlord of the Bluebell Inn, Halkyn after retiring. Then scouted for Chester City but returned to the Midlands in 1969 to work as steward at the Wolesley Car Social Club. Died in Birmingham in June 1981 aged 63.
