Position: Centre-back Defensive midfielder

Biography: The Norwegian international who was capable of playing in defence or midfield. Ronny was snapped up from Turkish side Besiktas for £1.5 million in 1996, and helped the club to win four Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a Champions League Winner's medal. After forming a solid partnership with Jaap Stam, he remained with United until the end of the 2001-2002 season when his contract expired, and was given a free transfer following fellow Norwegian Oyvind Leonhardsen to Villa Park. He has played for Norway in the International Masters Tournaments and now deals in Real Estate in Tonsberg, Norway.
