Kennedy, Ray I was 14 years of age in 1977. My older brother took me to Anfield to see live my hero...Ray Kennedy. I was shocked when he was sent off. I think it was against Aston Villa. I am 58 now so it may have been a year or to later when I witnessed my hero sent off.

Kennedy, Ray Ray’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever played golf with when I lived in the North East, had some brilliant & funny conversations with him about most sports, mostly taking the mickey outta me for being a Leeds fan.

Kennedy, Ray You were one of LFC Greats I was made up when you scored goal against Bayern Munich in the European Cup. That shut them up and sent them home. We went on to win the the final. God love you.

Kennedy, Ray As a teenager growing up with my idol was Ray Kenedy, I was besoted by him, and I would make up poems for him, send them to him & on I occassion, my mother went to Highbury and gave the receptionist a poem of mine, (I was around 11), and she promised to give it to him. I never heard from him, I was so upset, and when he finally left Arsenal, I was unconsolable. I knew where he lived, what car & the Registration number. I wonder if he ever remembered or kept them. I wrote loads.
