Biography: The Serbian international hit man was signed for £5.2 million in the summer of 2004 to bolster the Blues front line, but despite making his debut on the opening day of the season he had to wait until December for his first goat Went onto score the winning goal in the Carling Cup Final victory over Liverpool and helped the club to their first League title in 50 years. Left after only one season having failed to settle in London. Has played for Atletico Madrid, Fenerbahce, and currently Paris St Germain, but had an unsuccessful loan spell at Zenit St Petersburg.
