Position: Goalkeeper

Biography: Kiely had played over 500 League games before coming to Pompey's rescue in 2006. He played a major role in helping the struggling team avoid relegation. However, when David James arrived at the club, Kiely opted to move elsewhere in a bid to secure first team football. He now plays for West Bromwich Albion. His son Chris is also a keeper and plays for Halesowen Town English-born Kiely was called up to the England under-17 squad in 1986, but later went on to represent the Republic of Ireland at full international level
