LANGAN, David I've followed Birmingham City since 1975 and can say Dave Langan was the best attacking right back I ever saw. I recall one game where we were losing to Luton at home and got a penalty. We missed the penalty but the ref made us re take it and Langan took the ball off the bloke who had missed put it down and without hesitation, hammered it into the roof of the net, class! Another stand out memory was having to win on last day of the season away at Coventry to stay up in the old Division 1, Langan ran down the left from memory and crossed an inch perfect cross onto Mick Harfords head in the dying minutes to save us. happy days!!
