Biography: A neat player who spent seven years at the club but mainly in the reserves. Having signed after serving in the Royal Navy during World War 2, he made his debut against Bolton Wanderers in August 1946 in place of Danny Winter. Left for Colchester United having failed to command a regular place. He later moved back to the Aylesbury area, where he died in 1975 after scouting for the club.
