Livermore, Doug The first time I heard Love Me Do by the Beatles was in Doug’s sitting room with our friend George Lucas - I remember kicking a ball about in the street back then.

Livermore, Doug We used to go to Ninian as kids to watch them train, hang about and watch the grass grow, Doug was great came over to us for a chat, still got the photo of him on the pitch, he had stonewashed flaired jeans on.

Livermore, Doug I shared a room with Dougie for 2 weeks in the Sofia Gardens leisure centre when we were both doing the full badge coaching course with Mike Smith. My brother in law Dai Davies was also on the course. I got on fantastically well with Dougie and both agreed we would keep in touch. Sadly this did not happen. I did invite him to stay with us in beautiful North Wales. It would be fantastic to see him again. I was playing for the Welsh Amateur International team at the time. It would be fantastic to hear from Dougie again. Brian Price.

Livermore, Doug Used to train our side at Penarth sports centre whilst playing for Cardiff City. A great bloke approachable and learnt a lot from him. Used many of his training techniques when I went on to manager Men and Women sides. One of the Ladies now plays for Chelsea and captains Wales. Sophie Ingle.

Livermore, Doug I remember my childhood days in the 50-60’s with Dougie playing knock and run and he always had a football outside, vaguely remember him going Brooklands dancing school on Tarbec Road.
