Maher, Aiden Yes, I used to sit next to him in the classroom. I met up with him at the football club at Birkenhead the late Alan Ball's dad was there. Happy times

Maher, Aiden Aiden now lives in Portsmouth. I played bowls against him this week when he was playing for Milton Park Bowls Club. Really nice, friendly man who was happy to chat about his career & team mates.

Maher, Aiden He and his wife Eileen ran The Queens Dock pub on Charlotte Street, Devonport, Plymouth over the period 1986 to 1989. Aiden had a cap in a display case on the wall and the was an oil painting of him in a tackle with a Liverpool player on another. These were the only clues to his past, he only spoke of hisfootballing past if he was asked about it and then in very modest terms. A really nice guy.
