Martin, Johnny Johnny played for Fleetwood Hesketh in the Southport and District League. One day playing Ince Blundell in a farmer's field we were changing in an old Caravan. He said “if my Dad could see me now he would be dismayed, as not that long ago he watched me playing for Aston Villa”. At the time he was Southport FC's highest ever signing from Workington Town.
