Birthplace: Hyde, Cheshire

Position: Left-back

Biography: Hit the headlines when he scored the only goal to win the 1990 FA Cup at the expense of Crystal Palace. It was only one of two goals that he scored for the club. His big break came when Arthur Albiston left the club and he appeared to have secured a regular place in the starting line up until Clayton Blackmore emerged. In 1991 he collected a Super Cup winner's medal and even though he struggled to hold down a regular first team place, he regularly captained the reserves . In January 1994, he left Old Trafford for Celtic. Is now working in West Cheshire helping young people find qualifications, courses or jobs.
