Birthplace: Wishaw, Scotland

Position: Fullback

Biography: Arrived in London with a massive reputation but he rarely lived up to his billing. Spent the first two seasons in the shadow of Tommy Law, Les Odell and George Barber, but then played 40 games in 1934-35 season before moving to Wales. After World War 2 he became a scout for Rangers in North East Scotland until his retirement in 1979. Continued to live in Glasgow until his death in 1994.
