Position: Wing-half.
Biography: Purchased from Sheffield Wednesday in 1910. £500 was paid immediately with the rest as an IOU. He was one of several signings that the club made in a bid to beat the drop and as a result, the transfer deadline was introduced. He played 22 consecutive games for the club but a cartilage operation spelled the end of his stay. Moved to Belfast after his career ended and went into business until his death in June 1928 aged 45.
