Biography: Frank Burrows was a big fan of this 6'4" striker. He snapped him up for £20,000 from non-league Cradley Town and the following year parted with the same sum as manager of Swansea to take him to the Vetch Field. Andy later played for Scunthorpe and Torquay United. He officially retired in 1999, but now, ten years on, can still be found on the muddy pitches of the south Devon League. You will be pleased to hear that his height is still being put to good use - both as a goal scorer and as the player called upon to take down the nets at the end of the match!
