Meldrum, Colin I remember watching Colin at Reading’s Elm Park and met him often when he lodged at Mrs West’s house in Kentwood Hill. Her son Phil was a mate and we were six years younger than Colin. He seemed to be so permanent at the club and we hero worshiped him.

Meldrum, Colin I met Colin when he first came to Reading in 1962 and was lodging with May West’s family on Kentwood Hill in Tilehurst. As a young football enthusiast I always enjoyed my visits to their house when he was there. I remember he was going with a girl and eventually got marrying and moved to a premise on Liebenrood rd Tilehurst, which was close to Elm Park stadium. So sorry to hear of his passing, great footballer and overall great guy! RIP

Meldrum, Colin Brilliant left back for Reading Had a lot of courage and tenacity even when the chips were down. Remember him, still urging on his team mates when they were 5 nil down to Mancester City in that epic match at Elm Park. Great days
