Biography: A London University Student, he captained the youth team before graduating from the reserves into the first team squad. Made his debut at Left-back aged 19 in a home defeat to Oxford United in February 1986 but was later converted into a left sided midfielder. Was allowed to join Blackburn Rovers in 1987. Finished his career in his native Scotland and is now living in Coatbridge.
