Miller, Keith How lucky I was to meet this gentleman while we were both waiting to have our tyres replaced.

He told me about the notorious tackle against Paul Reaney and how upset he was that the injury was so serious. He said that Paul’s manager and assistants threatened him physically on the touch line, in the tunnel and outside the ground. Obviously he was upset. He had a chat with his manager and was excused training the next day. Instead he went to see Paul Reaney in hospital to apologise which Paul brushed off as what happened had been an accident.

Keith said he still felt bad about the tackle but he was glad he took his manager’s advice.

Apparently they remained good friends after that.

Miller, Keith Like Georgie Coe I met Keith when I went to Malory School in 1960 and we became best of friends right through school and into later life. In fact Keiths mum came to live with me and wife in Catford for a short time. Keith and I also had a window cleaning round when he lived in Mottingham. Several of us went down to Keiths and Liz’s wedding in Bournemouth. After that we occasionally visited each other for several years. I went to Keiths testimonial for Bournemouth when they played a Tottenham 11. Unfortunately we have now lost touch.

Miller, Keith I remember seeing Keith play his third and last game for West Ham against Leeds United. He tackled Paul Reaney who unfortunately suffered a broken leg, Keith was quite upset by that. I thought he would have played more games, but it never quite worked for him. I worked with his Father "Red", on Smithfield Market, for Bernard Thomson.

Miller, Keith I used to watch Dusty playing left back for AFCB when I was a kid, more often than not man of the match, really good player.

Later, I came on as a sub for Poole Town as a 17 year old against Dorchester Town. I was marking Dusty in midfield and he immediately gave me a clip around the ear.

A few years later I signed for Dorchester Town, Keith was manager and we went on to win the Southern League South division, he was a great manager and we had a lot laughs on the way.

Great player and a great manager.

MILLER, Keith Met Keith when we started at Mallory together and played alongside him at school. We also played five a side together in a team called Torledo (where that came from no idea ). Our goalkeeper was John Cogan. Keith was a stand out player, really pleased he had a career in football
