Birthplace: Aberdeen, Scotland

Position: Midfielder

Biography: Scotsman who began as a United amateur, made his first team debut at Bolton Wanderers in October 1960 alongside Nobby Stiles. His best season came in 1963-1964 when United finished runners up to Liverpool. But the emergence of George Best and John Connolly saw him relegated to the reserves and he was sold to Blackpool. Worked as a lecturer in sports sociology at the University of Birmingham's School of Sports and Exercise Sciences.

Moir, Ian Big friends of Ian when we both at Wrexham FC and then worked together cheese factory in Balderton. Also spent many a night drinking with him. Fantastic man.
