Biography: An accomplished gaelic footballer who managed to maintain the passion shown in his former sport whilst in the heart of United's back four. This unfortunately resulted in Kevin receiving more than his fair share of cuts and bruises, earning him the nickname 'Captain Blood' in the tabloid press. He was spotted by United's legendary Irish talent spotter, Billy Behan, and became a regular in the United team throughout the 1980s, winning two FA Cup winner's medals. He was the first player to be sent off in a FA Cup Final in 1985. He moved to Sporting Gijon of Spain when given a free transfer from United in 1988 but returned to England for a spell with Blackburn Rovers. Republic of Ireland central defender, retired at the end of the 1993-4 season. Became a players agent after forming Proactive Sports Management with Jesper Olsen, and is also a television pundit in Ireland.
