Mortimore, John John and Charlie lived down the road from our house in Cove and he was friends with my brothers. Charlie was our games master at Cove school. I attended a lunch at Stamford Bridge and spoke to John about where we grew up. RIP John and best regards to Charlie.

Mortimore, John As a young boy my grandad used to take my brother and I to watch Woking. I remember John and his brother Charlie. If I remember rightly I saw them play at Wembley in the armature cup final which Woking won. RIP John Mortimer
