Murray, Bob I'm sad to inform you that Robert Murray died on 18th September 2017 at Macclesfield Hospital. He was an incredibly skilled footballer who unfortunately suffered problems with walking because of his career. For further information he was born in 1932 in Kemnay, Aberdeen, Scotland and was scouted in 1952 by Stockport County and catapulted immediately to striker then to Captain for five years. After his career in football he worked in aerospace as you know and volunteered to coach the Poynton boys. Robert was one of the kindest people you would have ever had the honour to meet and I am proud to say that I knew him. Thankyou for documenting his football career.
