Myers, Cliff I stood on the terraces at Yeovil in the early 90's and watched what was a very good Yeovil side. Cliff was an inspiration to watch and should have been playing way above this level. I remember going to Bournemouth in the FA cup. Bournemouth fielded players like Ted MacDougall and Phil Boyle and I believe were unbeaten at home. A ball was played from the left wing across the edge of the penalty area where Cliff caught it first time and sent a screamer in to put Yeovil into the next round where they went down to Arsenal
Myers, Cliff Cliff is still at the Sunburnt Arms in Lindos with his family. There is a lovely but grainy picture of him playing for Charlton against Rotherham in his heyday, complete with sideboards, hanging in his bar. His grandson is 15yrs and is on Everton's books.Must run in the family.Well worth a visit to see him and have a chat about the good old days of the 60's. Mick. Northampton.
