Birthplace: Aberdare, Wales

Position: Wing-half

Biography: Signed from west London rivals QPR as first reserve to Ken Armstrong and found his chances few and far between. Then after Armstrong retired, John Mortimore was bought in and rather than play in the reserves anymore Nicholas left for Coventry City in a £3,000 deal. Has made Coventry his home and worked for many years until his retirement as a machine operator for Massey Ferguson, still attends home games at Coventry.
