Biography: A United fan who grew up in Blackley, North Manchester. He spent two seasons at Old Trafford as a junior but was never offered terms and joined Stalybridge Celtic. Was once arrested by police on suspicion of being an IRA terrorist. Went to work for social services working in a residential units. Now lives in semi- retirement in Vilamoura on the Algarve, working for a property company.
