Biography: Bought from FC Porto as a teenager for a fee reported to be around £500,000. Made his Premiership debut against Manchester City but could never establish himself as a first team regular and was only able to make a handful of appearances. He had loan spells at Preston and then in his native Portugal with Maritimo before being released on a free transfer. Has played for Maritimo, Leixoes SC and since 2008 Braga.
