Palmer, Carlton What a formidable midfield we had, with Carlton on the left and Robert Hopkins on the right..We were at Boundary Park when they took Oldham apart...Hopkins scored a screamer from 35 yards. The Albion end was full, so we sneeked in with the Oldham fans in the stands....we spent the game drinking hot chocolate with brandy in it...it was very cold...which I happened to have concealed about my presence.
