Park, Terry Terry Park was a really good footballer. I tried out with Stockport County at Edgley Park during first team training around 1975. Terry coached me as we played 1 touch and other drills. I was not good enough , but I will not forget what a nice person he was. I also got to see him in a Cup match under the flood lights at old Trafford when Stockport County got drawn LEAGUE CUP against Man U. Stockport were brilliant on the night and Terry Park scored a great goal at the Stretford End. County should have won but a late and awful penalty given by the referee gave Utd the undeserved win ! Even Utd fans were singing for County when the final whistle blew. Terry Park was a true professional and wonderful player.
