Biography: Former loanee Pennant has regularly hit the headlines during an explosive career. As a 15 year old he went from Notts County trainee to Arsenal's youngest ever first team player in a record £2 million move and scored a hat-trick on his full debut. He played 13 games at Pompey but after a spell with Real Zaragoza in Spain he returned home to play for Stoke City.
