Phillipson-Masters, Forbes Forbes and I were in the same senior school class in Bournemouth (4th & 5th forms). He was a truly wonderful young man and extremely well-spoken. Subsequently, he was voted ‘England’s poshest football player’! Coincidentally, my mother’s hometown was Yeovil so naturally, my relatives still living in the town were quite familiar with his ‘not easy to forget’ name!
