Birthplace: Cramlington, Northumberland

Position: Striker

Biography: England international who made over 400 league appearances for Burnley, Bury, Coventry, and Pompey. He won three England caps and a League Winner's medal with Burnley before finding himself at Fratton Park during the latter stages of his career. Although mainly employed in a midfield Role, he did bag 31 goals and won the first ever Player of the Year trophy. Later coached at Burnley, Bury and Blackpool, where he now lives in retirement.
