Position: Midfielder

Biography: A cultured midfield battler who spent a year at Southampton. In 2000 he became youth team manager at Sunderland before becoming assistant manager at Stockport County a year later. In 2004 he returned to Sunderland as the reserve team manager, but moved to Newcastle United as an academy coach when Black Cats boss Roy Keane replaced him. In October 2009 he became assistant manager of Darlington.
