Biography: Alan played as a young 15 year old for St Albans before signing for Luton, going through the youth team and into the 1st Team 1961-67. Joined Watford FC under KEN FURPHY 1967-68. Then went to SA and enjoyed a very sucessful time at RANGERS FC 1968-1972. Ran his own business for many years also managed his own local football team and played until the age of 60 Recognized for all his work with young lads etc He became part of Jimmy Quinn's coaching team at Northwich and Shrewsbury and was part of the very successful team bringing relegated Shrewsbury back into the Football League via the play-off final at Britannia Stadium. Alan is now retired
