William Rochford

Position: Full-back

Biography: Rochford (known as 'Rocky') was a member of the 1939 FA Cup winning team. He played over 100 matches for Pompey and Southampton. Following his retirement, Rochford returned to his native north-east to become a farmer near Gateshead, but continued to scout for Southampton. He died at Bishop Auckland in March 1984.
