Ryan, David I was privileged to Captain Dave Ryan at St Peters Grammar in Prestwich when we were 1st X1 league champions. With Paul Bowles at Centre half . Gary Hulme striker and Dave Ryan in goals we were quite invincible. Dave was a great character and a natural goal keeper. If he ever played out for fun he would go back in goals within 10 minutes.
All three were a great set of lads and it was a pleasure to see their careers develop.
