Salmons, Geoff Played in the same team as Geoff albeit as a 10 year old at Swinton Bridge junior school. I remember that his dad and their dog always attended every match. Hope you are fit and well Geoff.

Salmons, Geoff "I'd walk a million miles for one of your goals Oh, Sammy." To the tune of Al Jolsons' "Mammy". This chant often went up on the Boothen End at the Victoria Ground during his time at Stoke. I also vaguely remember a pre season open day at the Vic where Geoff won some kind of throw in or long throw contest. One of my favourite all the Stoke players!

Salmons, Geoff Geoff is one of the funniest characters l was fortunate to meet and play with! He should have been an full cap English International for his inventive and industrious play. He did like a pint and a laugh he was a brilliant team mate!

Salmons, Geoff What a good player. I was surprised he never got any international recognition. He never seemed to have a bad game. He worked well in the trio at Stoke with Alan Hudson and Jimmy Greenhoff. I was there at Highbury in 1971. My first game as an Arsenal Fan. I hope he is doing well.

Salmons, Geoff I'm writing about the Stoke City team of the 1970s, and would very much like to get in touch with Geoff if anyone out there knows how to get in touch with him!

Salmons, Geoff I was in the stands at Highbury, when Geoff scored an amazing goal to beat Arsenal 1-0 in 1971.
All the Gooners were saying who is that amazing player. I had the pleasure of letting them know!
Just in case Geoff ever sees this
Thanks for the lifts for me and my mates to the M1 for the hitchhike back to London 70/71 season. Xx
