Clubs played for: Chelsea, Brentford, Oakland Clippers (1955-1968)
Born: 1939
Birthplace: Claygate
Position: Centre-half
Biography: A product of the clubs prolific youth system but never really fulfiled his potential despite playing over 100 games for the club. A solid Centre-half, he made his debut against Wolves in March 1958, but a lack of domination in the air against big centre forwards cost him his place in the team when John Mortimore was moved into the middle at the back after the arrival of Sylvan Anderson. Died of a heart attack in 1997 whilst living in the US where he ended his career.
