Biography: Portsmouth born defender who came through the Southampton youth ranks making twenty one league before moving onto Gillingham where he made over two hundred appearances, he later returned to Saints in 1985 moving onto Swansea without appearing in the first team again

Sharpe, John John lived in Gillingham in the early 2000’s, I know this as he lived near my brother. He was always friendly and stopped to chat on a few occasions. Haven’t seen him around for a long time though. A good player for Gillingham.
