Birthplace: Fort William, Scotland

Position: Striker

Biography: Failed to get a look in at the Stamford Bridge because of the fruitful Kerry Dixon/David Speedie partnership. However he did score on his debut against Leicester in February 1986 and played against Oxford the following week, in two of the three games Dixon didn't play that season. He was allowed to leave the club to join Huddersfield in a £100,000 deal in March 1986. Ended his career in Scotland with Aberdeen and then Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Joined the coaching staff of both clubs before taking control of Buckle Thistle for four and a half years. Shearer is now coaching the under 15's at Inverness and working for the Press Association in Scotland.
