Shinton, Bobby Played with Bobby, 82/83 Millwall reserves. I was just 17. He was a fantastic player. All he kept saying to me, was give me the ball, give me the ball. Made me feel so relaxed playing football with him. A joy to play with thanks, Bobby.

Shinton, Bobby I worked with Bobby in a builders merchant just outside of Cambridge. He was a forklift driver. As far as I know, he never owned a double glazing company in Worcester.

Shinton, Bobby I remember those “heady days” of late 1970’s. Bobby was briliant. There was a story at the time that the Wales Manager (Mike Smith) was looking into Bobby’s family tree to see if he qualified for playing for Wales, alongside Micky Thomas, Arfon Griffiths, Dai Davies and Gareth Davies. Alas it didn’t come to anything

Shinton, Bobby I met Bobby back in 1980 when I was going out with his niece Kim Keeling. I loved her. He was sound Bob. Used to go over the 4 in hand pub in W.Brom. Bryan Robson was always in there. Great days. Johnny Lloyd. I will never forget.

Shinton, Bobby I watched Bobby Shinton in the 70s whilst he was plying his trade at Cambridge United and his ability as a player was head and shoulders above most players at that level. He has left a lasting impression on me and it was a pleasure and a privilege to have watched him.

Shinton, Bobby I knew him when he was playing for Lye Town in the West Midlands regional league when he signed his first full time pro contract with Walsall. And when he called at the club he was so excited. I used to train with the club as I was a referee on that league, but naturally never officiated at any of their games.
Shinton, Bobby Best player I saw in a Wrexham shirt! Magnificent in the 1977/78 promotion year. I remember his debut the previous season home to Portsmouth 21st August 1976 - scored two magnificent goals - the season Wrexham narrowly missed promotion. A candidate for my World XI team!!!
Shinton, Bobby You gotta love this man, excellent football player.
Even better physio!
After a recent car accident Bobby has been helping me with my physio to get me walking again.
It's not what you know, it's who you know.
