Summerbee, Mike Also I remember in 70s going to a house in Crumpsall on Crumpsall Lane as my mate said George Best use to go there so I went to there and in a top window I seen a pair of football boots hanging up at window so knock. Someone came to the door and I said is George in and he said no. He said will I do? I said no it’s ok (as did not know who he was ) then my mate said why did I not get his autograph as it was Alex Stepney lol (later in my life I found out George and Mike Summerbee used it to have girls around and party.

Summerbee, Mike Fourteen years old in the late seventies, me and my mate going to the Manchester derby at maine road. I had my united scarf round my wrist and my mate had his city scarf round his. We was thumbing a lift and mike summerbee stopped in his two seated e type jag. Both squeeze in he said, then said too my mate jokingly you in the middle. I don't want that red shit near me. He gave us a pound for pies when we got to Maine rd.

Summerbee, Mike Remember Mike Summerbee sitting on the ball, waiting to take a corner, when the crowd started singing 'Summerbee's a w***ker'. He turned round, still sitting on the ball, and started conducting them!
Summerbee, Mike Mike presented me with a trophy when I was 12 years old George Best was to hung over to attend, the next time I saw Mike was in a cafe in the Algarve and he said he remembered the day this was 45 years later a true gentleman.
