George Switzer

Position: Left-back

Biography: A FA Youth Cup winner in 1992 alongside David Beckham, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. He spent a year at Old Trafford as a professional but was released because he was considered too small to play at Left-back. In all, he spent a decade at the club and moved to Darlington on a free transfer. After dropping into the non-league game, he has worked as an optical technician for Dolland & Aitchison at their factory in Salford and driving a van for a Manchester courier firm.
